Startappers and young entrepreneurs enjoyed the speeches of 5 experts with their different points of view on new born companies.

Tobia Repossi talked about how much is important to know your limit as a startup to make them strengths.

Italian Designer Tommaso Rodolfo Masera of Masera Design Studio talked about a slow kind of mechanical watch project that became a company.

French Artist and Designer Nicolas Deladerrierre about a project of drone racing.

Bojan Smilijanic, Product Designer from Bosnia’s speech focused on the new possibilities opened by Crowdfunding.

Young French entrepreneur Yoann Boudou  gave a speech about the recipe of the perfect Startup and how important is delivering quickly and precisely and how his company MiH (Make it Happen) helps startups to develop their products from conception to market.

The even was sponsored by Shenzhenware, the platform for makers, and UCloud, the giant Chinese hosting platform.

TOBIA REPOSSI

Tobia Repossi studied Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and at Kunstakademiets Arkitektschole in Copenhagen. He is an Architect since 1998, dealing with architecture and design applied to retail and hospitality, exhibitions, museums, exhibits, product design and corporate identity in general. Lecturer at Politecnico di Milano Faculty of Design, IED Institute (Istituto Europeo del Design) and Marangoni Institute. Some of his works are published in magazines and newspapers and selected for the XX° Compasso d’Oro Prize, Design Index, Mediastars, Modern Decoration International Award, A’Design Award. From 2008 to 2009 he’s been a Cultural Consultant of the IED Institute CEO. He founded and is a partner of ZonaUno® Ltd, an agency born to follow companies for architecture, design and the definition and project of their communication strategies part of Commedia Communication and Media Group and today owned by Keymove. He designed tens of shops, corners, monobrand stores and showrooms and almost 100 products for landscape and urban design including the Science Park. He founded Mobili in Cartone®, a cardboard furniture company that produces and sells via web fully recycled and recyclable furniture for fairs, events, temporary showrooms and exhibitions. Today he mainly lives in China mainland where he designs 5 stars Hotels, Resorts and Offices for the Asian market and designs, with the team, a consumer electronic product every week.

Immerse very young by his parents into the Art and Inventors field, Nico decided after a Master in fine Art to involve himself deeper into an analysys of his social and technological environment. Seeing how societies evolve and what can be adjust push him to pass a bachelor in Paris in Product Design where he learned about manufacturing processes. He then finish a second Master in Product & Marketing in UK which allowed him to have a clearer point of view of to structure the launch of a product on the market. A necessity of discovering Asian Way of life took him to China. He develops medical products, house appliances, and workshop around innovation for the biggest group , such has Huawei, TCL, Microsoft,.. also workshop with the government, Shenzhen Creative and UNESCO. Always curious about lots of things,he is not afraid of asking the right or wrong questions, he tries to see how we can improve the quality of our everyday life with simple solutions, this in a serious or more playful way.

Yoann Boudou is a young French tech entrepreneur based in Shenzhen since 4 years. After studying Chinese in France for 3 years, he went to China and started his own company & brand of electronic high tech products. Meeting with fellow entrepreneurs in Europe, he then felt that startups had needs that he didn’t have because of his experience in China. He then decided to use his experience in manufacturing & supply chain to help them and then partnered up with a french friend and a big Chinese manufacturer to create MiH Innovation – Make it Happen. This venture is focused at accelerating startups and SME’s innovative projects from the early stage of prototyping all the way to the final consumer.
