During our Product Design courses, we always try to keep an analogic base to our teaching, giving the students the chance to visualise the concepts in a very practical way.
Being able to interact with physical objects is the very base of understanding and learning.
It’s a learning-by-doing experience that teaches the basics to the students before they go digital on the computer.
Confucius would have put it this way: “if I hear I forget, if I see I remember, If I do I understand“.
