The New Generation Products, Processes and Services course run by Tobia Repossi in Green Product Design at Its Machina Lonati Brescia ended December 2023.

Tobia Repossi, Marcello Ziliani, Giacomo Pala and Silvia Mastella (who also acted as coordinator of Product Design) evaluated  29 students, divided into 9 different groups, attending the second year.

Students have been given a PCB designed by Innuvatech and have designed and prototyped products based on LED RGB colour-changing lights.

Ida Adamo, Anne Mahamalage and Singh Rajatpal designed a device to help deaf people enjoy music through colours, Paolo Capelli, Elena Colombo and Alessandro Marchesi a plate for children with attention deficit.

Andrea Ghirardi, Sofia Delbono and Valentina Spezia have designed Flash Fit, a device for reflex training in sports, while Nova Afia Asir, Giordano Baronchelli and Mattia Arpini a device for unintrusive notifications.

Francesco Giorgi, Federico Vricella and Simone Borlotti designed a foldable camping lamp called Klara, Marco Aderenti, Luca Facondo and Francesca Savaresi an object for brainstorming and collaboration based on the “Six Hats for Thinking” by Edward de Bono.

Elisa Trezza, Marta Zanardini and Martina Romelli reinvented the Twister game with lights while Martina Romelli, Michaela Ferrante and Nicole Zancarli a Pill Holder that blinks for deaf people.

Irene Mangano, Michele Sangiorgi, Damiano Turra and Sara Vavassori designed Sip Light, a Water Bottle that helps with drinking through the day.
