Concept of a proposed masterplan for an area of the city of Famagusta in Cyprus, facing the Mediterranean sea.
In the vision of the proposed master plan, a mix of different functions is proposed: a five-star hotel, residential units and a small condo, shops, a waterfront with bars and restaurants and a Museum of Modern Art. Everything is surrounded by green areas and outdoor games for kids.
The residential and hospitality area has been inspired by the Sardinian villages of Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo and the waterfront promenade wants to replicate the ancient touristic port of Kyrenia’s atmosphere of night bars and fish restaurants.
The project has been developed in collaboration with the Arkin Group and with its architectural team.
